A static CMS that syncs without a server

Build anywhere. Publish anywhere. Sync everywhere.

What is Postalgic?

Postalgic is a static CMS for creating and publishing blogs. Write from iOS or the self-hosted web app, generate static HTML, and publish to your own hosting.

Your other devices sync changes directly from your published site—no central server required.

Your blog, your server, no platform in between. No algorithms, no ads, no surveillance—just your words on your corner of the web.

Key Features

  • Cross-Platform: Write from iOS or the self-hosted web interface
  • Static Output: Generate fast, secure static sites using Mustache templating
  • Publish Anywhere: Deploy to AWS S3, any SFTP server, or any Git repository
  • Serverless Sync: Sync across devices through your published site—no central server
  • Own Your Content: Your data lives on your hosting, not someone else's platform

How Sync Works

When you publish your blog, Postalgic generates a sync manifest alongside your static site. Other devices can then pull changes directly from your published website.

  • No account required: There's no Postalgic server to sign up for
  • No cloud lock-in: Your sync data lives on your own hosting
  • Incremental updates: Only changed content is synced
  • True ownership: Move your blog anywhere, anytime
